I've seen this done on many blogs before and I thought it would be fun to start doing in my pregnancy. That way a year from now I can look back and remember some fun (and not so fun) pregnancy moments. First here is a picture of Baby Hoover at 10 weeks....looking like a baby finally!
How far along? I am 13 weeks today! Some people say this is the start of the 2nd trimester, and some say it doesn't start until next week. I am going to go with today b/c that would mean I should start feeling better soon!
Weight Gain: so far I have lost a couple pounds b/c I have been really sick. But hopefully the sickness is passing so that should change soon.
Sleep: I haven't been sleeping well (I guess my body is preparing me for the sleepless nights of having a newborn haha). Thanks to my wonderful mom though for buying me an amazing pregnancy pillow, b/c last night was the best nights sleep I have had in awhile! Chris even enjoys the pillow....haha
Best moments this week: Well this week has been really rough due to me not feeling well. I thought the morning sickness (aka all day sickness) was slowing down until an all day sick-fest almost sent me to the hospital b/c of dehydration. I also had a horrible migraine to top it all off. Luckily everything is ok and I am starting to feel better. Last night though we did get to visit with Chris' sister and her family who we havent seen in forever. Our niece Jordan just had a baby 3 weeks ago and she is the most precious and beautiful baby! Watching Chris hold baby Cayleigh literally made my heart melt. I can't wait until I get to see him hold our baby!
Food cravings: nothing specific yet...I just get happy when I can actually eat without feeling sick! I do have to say though I have been eating a lot of pickles...haha
Gender: Well we wont find out for about three more weeks but I personally think its a girl. Chris, along with most of my family, thinks its a boy. We eventually want at least one boy and one girl so we will be happy with whatever sex Baby Hoover is!
What I miss: I miss having energy. When they tell you that you will feel tired when pregnant I definitely underestimated just how tired I would be. If I am awake for more than 4 hours I could fall asleep standing up haha. Naps have been my best friend.
What I am looking forward to: I am looking forward to getting some energy and not feeling so sick anymore! Also I am looking forward to having another ultrasound soon to see our precious baby again and hopefully find out the sex!
Milestones: Well the baby has gotten through the hardest weeks so far and all the vital organs are formed so I'd say thats a pretty big milestone...good job baby! Also I am starting to somewhat show a bump which is pretty exciting...cant wait until its a little bigger so you can actually tell I am pregnant!
I also have to give a huge shout out to my husband for taking care of me these past three months. I never thought I would be this sick but he has been there by my side the entire time. I do not know what I would do without him! Love you Chris!!
